School Board to consider hiring new football coach, dean of students

The Ponca City Board of Education will meet in a special meeting at noon Thursday, Dec. 21.
Among the agenda items is an executive session so the board may discuss the employment of a dean of students/director of football operations/head football coach. The board will discuss and take action on this item when it returns to open session.
Another agenda item calls for the board to discuss and take action on a contract on an agreement with Brinley Engineering, LLC, to design, develop bid documents and coordinate a new parking lot east of Roosevelt Elementary School. The cost of the agreement is $18,000.
