Ponca City Now - January 31, 2019 4:55 pm

“Princess for a Night,” the 2019 Father-Daughter Dance, is set for Saturday, Feb. 2, at the Marland Mansion.

Three sessions are set for this year: Session 1, from 3:15 to 4:45 p.m., is for girls in kindergarten or younger.

Session 2 is from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and is for girls in first and second grades.

Session 3 is from 8 to 9:30 p.m. and is for girls in third through seventh grades.

The dance is open to all girls from baby to age 13, accompanied by the man in their lives — father, grandfather, uncle, brother or a male over the age of 18 who is influental in the life of the princess.

It will be held at the Marland Mansion, 901 Monument Road in Ponca City.

Cost is $15 per person, per session. Fathers going to multiple sessions will need to purchase multiple tickets.

Proceeds benefit the Opportunity Center. Tickets are available online and in store at Village Screenprint through Friday, Feb. 1,  from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at 316 East Grand Ave.

Every attendee must have a QR code  to enter the dance. It may be displayed on a cell phone from email, screen shot or printed on paper.

Portrait packages are available. This year an optional photo opportunity for the girls only is available. More time will be taken with these princess portraits to ensure a good photo is taken.

A free 4×6 portrait of the escort and daughter includes a snowflake backdrop with three level stairs. Packages may be purchased at a later date from Photography by Jes.

Other than the free portrait, the Princess Portrait Package ranges in cost from $15 to $55.
