Ranch Drive Fire Department cancels Saturday dinner

Beverly Bryant - December 16, 2016 10:50 am

Due to predicted weather conditions, the Ranch Drive Fire Department has canceled the department’s  Christmas Dinner, scheduled for Saturday,  Dec. 17.

The dinner was canceled due to predicted low temperatures and possible road conditions.

“Our fire apparatus can not set out during this period of time, because we are afraid that pumps, lines, etc. might freeze,” said Vice President  Eddie Manley.  “This would incur serious down time and expense if allowed to happen.”
