Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad crews will be performing maintenance activities at the Grand Avenue railroad crossing beginning Tuesday morning, Dec. 19.

The work will involve adjusting the concrete panels to grade and installing a new switch.  Train traffic will continue to run on the siding track, and the crossing will be closed to motor vehicle traffic during the project.

The rehabilitation work is expected to be finished by Thursday, Dec. 21.  Traffic normally using the Grand Avenue crossing may use the Cleveland and/or Broadway crossings during this time.

Questions may be directed to Mike Lane, Traffic Engineering Manager, at (580) 767-0327.
