PTC Names Student of the Year

Cheyanne Krol was named the Pioneer Technology Center (PTC) Student of the Year. A graduate of Ponca City High School (Po-Hi) and a student in the Teacher Preparation program, Krol is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Krol.

While attending PTC she was active in the Student Leadership Academy as well as participating in the class leadership team. She was a member of the student organizations FCCLA and Educators Rising and was just named as a PTC Guaranteed Graduate.

Krol is enrolling at Cowley County College in Arkansas City and would like to become an educator.

According to her Teacher Preparation instructor Vicki Braden, “Cheyanne was a joy to have in class. Her dedication, sense of humor and heart for children are the perfect mix; she will make a great teacher. I’m super proud of her!”

Krol not only had impeccable attendance and grades, she also participated in an internship at the Child Development Center preparing her to be a future educator.
