Power out in areas of Ponca City

Ponca City Now - November 11, 2015 2:26 pm

As a result of high winds, a large tree fell across a primary line, which has resulted in a large power outage in the southwest part of town.

The area affected is located between the railroad tracks and Waverly Avenue and between Liberty Avenue and Highland Avenue.

Ponca City Energy crews are currently on site making repairs, which includes replacing the broken cross arms and putting the electric line back in place.

Repairs are expected to be completed within a few hours. Thank you for your patience.
