Ponca City woman dies in accident

UPDATE: Lydia Ruth Bogan, the driver of the GMC truck, died at 1:06 p.m. Friday, according to medical personnel at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, OK.

A Ponca City woman died Thursday in an accident in Osage County on State Highway 11, five miles west of Barnsdall.

Susan K. Raynor, 31, died at the scene of massive injuries.

Raynor was driving a 2015 Dodge Dart that collided with a 1995 GMC truck driven by Lydia Ruth Bogan, 64, of Barnsdall. Bogan was transported by Air Evac to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa and was admitted in critical condition with trunk and leg injuries.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported Raynor was eastbound and Bogan was westbound on SH 11. For unknown reasons, Raynor crossed the center line and collided with Bogan’s vehicle head-on.
