Ponca City Police Department Tactical Team Conducting Training Exercise on Thursday Near High School

The Ponca City Police Department Tactical Team will be conducting a training exercise on Thursday, April 13.
This exercise will be conducted on property owned by Ponca City Public Schools at 600 E. Comanche.
This location is in close proximity to Ponca City High School and there will be an increased law enforcement presence in the vicinity of the high school on Thursday morning.
Citizens should not be alarmed by the presence of law enforcement in the area.
The Ponca City Police Department commonly uses properties throughout the city which are scheduled to be demolished or have been deemed uninhabitable. Additionally, the Police Department frequently works cooperatively with Ponca City Public Schools to create and facilitate training exercises that are essential to the readiness of the Police Department and its officers.
