Ponca City Now - November 12, 2019 9:43 am

Ponca City voters will fill two seats on the Ponca City Board of Commissioners on Feb. 11, 2020.

Candidates will file for the positions at the Kay County Election Board Dec. 2-4, 2019.

The two seats are at-large positions, which means the commissioners represent all Ponca City residents and not just those in a particular district. The election is a non-partisan vote.

Currently Seats 1 and 3 are filled by Shasta Scott and Lanita Chapman.

The resolution to set the election was approved unanimously at Monday night’s Commission meeting.
