Ponca City Man Injured in Motorcycle Accident

Osage County-

A 2013 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Glen E. Salmon, age 73 of Ponca City, crashed while traveling south bound on S City View Road just south of Scissortail Lane Thursday night.

Salmon swerved to avoid hitting an animal in the roadway, departed the right side of the roadway then re-entered the left side of the roadway, laying the vehicle on it’s side.

Salmon was transported by Medi-Flight to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City and admitted in critical condition with head, trunk internal, trunk external and arm injuries.

The accident was investigated by Trooper Daniel Sparks of the Pawnee/Osage County Detachment of Troop K.

Trooper Austin Owen of the Pawnee/Osage County Detachment of Troop K, Osage County

Sheriff’s Office, Ponca City Fire Department, McCord Fire Department and Medi-Flight out of Stillwater.
