Ponca City Man Injured in Fatal Accident

A fatality collision occurred today (April 8th) at approximately 3:11 a.m. near the intersection of 141st S.t South and 220th East Ave, approximately 4 miles west of Coweta, OK, in Wagoner County resulting in the death of a Tulsa man, and injury to three others, including a Ponca City resident.

Jonathan Micah Howard, age 60, of Ponca City,, was injured in the accident and was transported by EMS to Saint Francis Hospital Tulsa and was admitted in critical condition with head and trunk internal injuries.

A second vehicle involved in the accident was being driven by 59-year-old Ronald Paul McAllister of Tulsa, OK.  McAllister was pronounced deceased at the scene. Two passengers in his vehicle; 37-year-old Daniel Anthony Tant, of Tulsa, and Sean Doyle Stewart, age 40, of Fort Worth, TX, were transported to Saint Francis Hospital Tulsa, both with internal and external truck injuries.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
