Ponca City Man arrested on Homicide Charges

The Ponca City Police Department has issued the following news release regarding a local alleged homicide:
On Friday July 17th, 2020 at approximately 12:49 p.m., the Ponca City Police Department received a call reference a domestic disturbance at 508 W. Liberty Avenue
Officers and paramedics arrived on the scene. Linda Kathleen Jones , 55 years old, was transported to AllianceHealth Ponca City where she was pronounced dead. Jerry L. Harris, 66 years old, of Ponca City was arrested for 1st Degree Homicide.
Investigators from the Ponca City Police Department and the Oklahoma Medical Examiners are investigating.
