Ponca City High School Building Lady Cat Wrestling Team

Ponca City Now - August 11, 2022 7:04 am

Po-Hi is looking to build a team full of strong young women to participate in Lady Wildcat Wrestling.

A meet and greet with new coach Karissa Avallone will be held on Wednesday, August 17, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Robson Field House.

There are several great reasons to join wrestling.

It teaches self defense, builds confidence, there are scholarship opportunities, you learn to deal with adversity, it teaches self reliance and self discipline, builds strong work ethic, teaches mental toughness and it’s an all inclusive sport.

Coach Avallone says joining wrestling is not just joining a sport but you will become part of a big family. She can be reached by email at [email protected].
