OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) – Police in Oklahoma City say they do not yet have any suspects in the death of a man who was shot multiple times.
Authorities say the shooting occurred about 5:30 p.m. Saturday at an apartment complex on the city’s northwest side. Police who responded to reports of gunfire found the victim dead with multiple gunshot wounds. Police say that they are working with other residents of the apartment complex to identify the victim and his name hasn’t been released.
Cpt. Ronnie Beck with the Oklahoma City Police Department says more than a dozen rounds were fired at the apartment. Investigators say the victim had a gun but that it apparently had not been fired.
Beck says that detectives have received conflicting reports about a suspect, including the person’s gender and whether there were multiple shooters.
