Poker run set for Saturday

A poker run to benefit Stan Moffett begins at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Ponca City’s American Legion Post 14, 407 West South Avenue.

There will be local stops, door prizes and a 50/50 pot. Registration is $15 for a single or $20 for a couple.

Organizations that are involved are Osage Hills Abate; Three Sands; O’Reilly’s; Bumper to Bumper; Brandt’s; Lindsey Weber; Rosemary Scott and the American Legion.

Donations for Stan Moffett will be accepted. He was diagnosed with lung cancer, COPD and emphysema more than a month ago. Due to his health, he is is unemployable and has no insurance. The benefit is to help him get the medical attention he needs.
