Po-Hi DECA chapter attends leadership conference

Ponca City DECA chapter officers recently attended the Oklahoma BPA-DECA Fall Leadership Conference at the Embassy Suites Hotel and Conference Center in Norman.

The seven chapter officers attended various leadership and planning workshops to help improve their skills while leading their home chapter members.

Officers attended workshops in the area of OKC Thunder: Being a Pro’s Pro, Professionalism and Interview Tips, Social Media Brands You, Dress for Success, and How to Become an Amazing DECA Officer.

The theme for the event was “Dauntless”.

The mission of DECA is to prepare emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.
