Under the direction of Chad Keilman, the Ponca City High School Chorale will present “Toil and Trouble,” a free public concert, at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1 at the Poncan Theatre.
“Toil and Trouble” features music of the macabre from Mozart to Michael Jackson. Come early and participate in a Ghost Tour of the haunted and historic Poncan Theatre. Tours will begin at 6 p.m. and last for approximately 10 minutes. Concessions will be available before the concert and all proceeds from the concession stand directly support the Poncan Theatre.
The Ponca City High School Chorale is an auditioned choir of exceptional high school students. The Chorale maintains a tradition of excellent musicianship spanning multiple decades.
Recently, the Ponca City High School choirs were invited to perform on the stage of Carnegie Hall in New York City in June 2017. Members of the choir are currently fundraising to pay for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The annual Fruit Sale is underway until Nov. 7, and the annual Spaghetti Dinner held in conjunction with the Ponca City Masonic Lodge, will take place on Thursday, Nov. 10. Please contact Chad Keilman at (609) 865-2153 or [email protected] if you would like to help choir members by purchasing fresh Florida citrus or attending the Spaghetti Dinner.
