Po-Hi Announces Upcoming Senior Events

Ponca City High School announces the dates and times for several upcoming events for the Class of 2023.
The Senior Scholarship Banquet will be held at the PCPS Concert Hall on May 16 at 6:30 p.m. Invitations have been shared with seniors receiving scholarships. More information will come.
Mach the Halls for First Lutheran and McCord seniors will be May 16. Students will wear cap and gown. McCord students will be picked up at the front entrance of the high school at 8:30 a.m. First Lutheran students will be picked up at 9:30 a.m.
The Academic Awards Assembly of Ponca City High School will be held at the Robson Fieldhouse at 8:30 a.m. on May 17. Guests are welcome and can arrive at 8 a.m. Invitations were dispersed to students last week.
Senior Lunch and meeting will be held on May 17. All graduates, including Wildcat Academy, Ponca City Virtual and SHARE will take first lunch (10:45 a.m.). The Senior meeting will be held at 1 p.m. in the Howell Auditorium for a short informational meeting regarding graduation. Students will pick up their rainout tickets, Great Escape ticket and waiver.
March the Halls for all other elementary schools and St. Mary’s School will be May 23 in the morning. Students need to wear their cap and gown. Schedule and signups have been sent to seniors through email and Google classroom.
Baccalaureate will be held on May 25 at 7 p.m. at the Connect Church (1101 W. Grand Avenue). Students will wear cap and gown.
Class of 2023 Graduation Commencement Ceremony will be held on May 26 at 8 p.m. at Sullins Stadium. More information will be provided regarding student check-in and district guidelines at the Senior meeting. In case of inclement weather, the graduation ceremony will be held in the Robson Fieldhouse on May 26 at 8 p.m. Students will receive six rainout tickets. A live feed of the graduation ceremony will be provided on poncacitynow.com.
Great Escape will follow graduation commencement at the Phillips 66 Atrium. Only graduating seniors may attend and doors are open from 10:45 p.m. to 11 p.m. Great Escape is sponsored by the senior class parents, community members and local businesses.
All activities and events can be found on the Po-Hi school calendar at www.pohi.pcps.us/calendar. If adjustments for inclement weather are made for any of the events, an announcement will be shared on social media, local radio stations and 2022-2023 Remind App.
