Pioneer Technology Center holds safety training

Team Radio Marketing Group - November 16, 2017 10:45 am

The Pioneer Technology Center Safety Training Center taught an estimated 1,683 individuals over the course of four weeks, during the turnaround at Phillips 66.

The team of individuals lead by Carl Storm, PTC Safety Coordinator, had 12 to 13 hour days of instructing contractors in core compliance and safety site orientations.   The influx of contractors to Phillips 66 meant long hours for the Pioneer Tech Business and Industry Services staff, who train all visitors, employees and contractors who enter the P66 Refinery.

The team put in around 3,600 hours in a four-week span.

“It takes a great team to do what we do,” Storm said.

The Pioneer Tech Safety Training Center is located on 1600 South Waverly.

Together with all safety classes, this team trained over 9,000 individuals last year alone.
