Pilot dies in crash

A fatal collision occurred Saturday morning at the Burns Flat airport in Washita County.

A replica of a Bugatti 100 P experimental plane, flown by Scott Edward Wilson, 66, of Broken Arrow, crashed. Wilson was pronounced dead on scene from massive injuries by Medical Examiner Kathy Valentine.

The crash is pending investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board.
