Personal Injury Collision in Pawnee County

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported a personal injury collision occurred about 6:33 a.m. Saturday on State Highway 15 about 1/2 mile west of Pawnee, OK in Pawnee County.

The patrol said the accident involved a 2009 Chevy Cobalt driven by Berwyn Isaac Moses Jr., 26, of Pawnee, OK. Moses was transported by Air Evac to St. John Hospital Tulsa, OK. Admitted in stable condition with head, trunk internal and leg injuries.

The Highway Patrol’s report stated Moses’ vehicle was traveling eastbound SH 15. The vehicle departed the roadway to the right, overcorrected, returned to the roadway and departed the roadway to the right again. The vehicle then went into a ditch, struck a fence and struck another ditch causing the vehicle to roll. The vehicle rolled 1.5 times coming to rest on its top. The driver of the vehicle was ejected out the driver’s door window and the vehicle came to rest on the driver’s leg. The driver was pinned for approximately 10 minutes. Seatbelts were not in use. The report lists Moses’ condition as apparently normal and the cause of the collision is under investigation.
