PCPS Wrestling Team Finishes in Top Ten at State Championships

 

Ponca City High School Wrestling team recently competed in the OSSAA State Championships. The team finished in the Top 10, with two state placers. Sophomore Gabriel Roland finished as a State Runner-up at 170, and freshmen Chris Kiser was Third at 106.

The state qualifiers were Chris Kiser 106, Preston Lee 126, Ryker Agee 132, Cameron Jackson 138, and Gabriel Roland 170.

“I was proud of the way the boys competed,” said Head Coach Justin Roland. “With the team being so young, their future looks bright.”

The Wildcats will finish out the 2020-2021 season at the OSSAA Dual State Championships on March, 13, 2021, at Enid, OK.
