PCPD seeks information on fatal shooting incident

On July 13th, 2023, at 01:48 am, the Ponca City Police Department received a report of a gunshot victim near the Paladin Apartments. Police located a 40-year-old male outside the 700 building with a single gunshot wound to the chest. The victim was transported to Alliance Medical, where he was pronounced dead.
Detectives are actively working the scene, gathering evidence, and talking to potential witnesses. The investigation is ongoing, and no additional information is being released at this time.
