Employees of the Park and Recreation Department took on one of  the year’s major projects Monday morning — setting up the city’s Christmas Tree over the fountain at City Hall.

They put together the metal framework with the lights and greenery early Monday. Here they are filling in bare spots with additional greenery from a bucket truck set up on Centennial Plaza.

Additional decorations will be added in downtown Ponca City.
