OSBI investigating Union City homicide

UNION CITY, Okla. – The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) is investigating a homicide in Union City. The Union City Police Department received a 9-1-1 call at 8:49 this morning from a passerby on SW 44th near Gregory Road. The caller stated there was a body on the side of the road. Union City officers responded within minutes and discovered a female deceased. At that point, they contacted the OSBI to be the lead in the investigation.

OSBI agents and Union City officers are still processing the scene, but it is being worked as a homicide investigation. The identification of the deceased is pending and the Medical Examiner’s office will determine cause of death.
