OSBI investigating Madill death

At about 6 p.m. Thursday, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation agents agents were called to a homicide scene in the 200 block of North 7th Street in Madill, Oklahoma.

Earlier, Madill Police Officers went to the residence of 52-year-old Joseph Wayne Lindsey at the request of a neighbor who had not seen Lindsey since the previous Friday.

Officers forced entry into the residence and found Lindsey dead inside. OSBI and Madill Police worked throughout the night collecting evidence and interviewing witnesses.

The investigation is on-going. If anyone has information pertaining to Lindsey’s death please contact the Madill Police or the OSBI at 800-522-8017.
