OSBI Investigating Atoka County Homicide

ATOKA COUNTY, Okla. – Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) was requested by the Atoka County Sheriff’s Office to assist with an investigation that involved an unidentified deceased male.

At approximately 12:45 a.m. on Saturday, December 26, the Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 call that there was a man laying in a wooded area off of Boggy Depot Road in Atoka County. Authorities responded and found the deceased male. The Medical Examiner was able to identify the victim as 40-year-old Jason Keith Stark and the manner of death is homicide.

The OSBI investigation is ongoing.
