Oklahoma Sooners and Cowboys Rank in AP Top 25 Preseason Football Poll

OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) — The AP Top 25 preseason college football rankings are out, according to Sports Illustrated, and two Oklahoma teams made the list.

The Oklahoma Sooners rank #16 and the Oklahoma State Cowboys rank #17.

Last season, Oklahoma State ranked #2 in the Big 12 Conference with the Sooners close behind at #3.

However, this is the Sooners’ first season in the SEC.

The AP poll showed Georgia, Ohio State, and Oregon in the top three preseason spots.
