Ohio driver injured in truck accident

An Ohio truck driver was injured in a collision about 10:36 p.m. Monday on the Cimarron Turnpike a mile south and a half mile east of Morrison in Noble County.

David A. Steele, 62, of Fresericksburg, Ohio, was driving a 2005 Mack truck westbound when it departed the roadway to the right for an unknown reason and struck the underside of the bridge overpass,  the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Steele was transported by ambulance to Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City in stable condition with head and arm injuries, the Patrol reported.
