Officer Kisen Sharp sworn to duty

Kisen Sharp, Ponca City Police Department’s newest officer, recites the Oath of a Police Officer as he is sworn to duty by Municipal Judge Bill Kirkpatrick.

His first day was with the PCPD was March 26. He graduated from the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training basic academy in Ada on July 27. Sharp will enter the next phase of his career, which is the Field Training Officer program utilizing skills and knowledge he learned at the academy and applying them locally.

Sharp attended basic training at Fort Sill, OK for the US Army in 2013 and most recently was a Safety Coordinator for a business in Alva, OK.
