The Oklahoma Department of Corrections said an inmate walked away from one of its facilities Thursday.

The inmate, identified as 30-year-old Gabriella Alexander, left the Oklahoma City Community Corrections Center near the Interstate 44 and Interstate 235 interchange Thursday afternoon.

The facility was able to confirm her absence after conducting a headcount and reviewing security footage.

Alexander is serving 10 years on counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute.
