Tom L. Barkley, age 70, of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away on November 28, 2025, in Oklahoma City. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601.
Tom was born on February 17, 1955, in Bokoshe, Oklahoma, to John R. and Martha L. Barkley. He was a hardworking man who valued family above all else and carried a quiet strength that those around him admired. Tom had a passion for riding motorcycles and would ride any chance he could get and had a passion for classic cars.
Tom is survived by his wife, Marty Barkley of Ponca City; his sons Brian L. Barkley of Ponca City and Mark R. Barkley of Wichita, Kansas; his sister, Gladys Lybrand of El Reno, Oklahoma; brother Ralph D. Barkley of Arkansas, and brother, Daniel G. Barkley, of Harrah, Oklahoma, and 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his father, John R. Barkley; his mother, Martha L. Barkley; brother John Lynn Barkley, and step-son, Lyle E. Greenfield.
Tom will be remembered with love for his steady presence, his devotion to his family, and the life he shared with those who knew him.
