Shirley Louise Grealish, age 89, of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2025, at Shawn Manor Nursing Home. A funeral service will be held on May 2, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Central Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor John Waterloo. Shirley will be laid to rest at Blackwell Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home, 505 W. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK, 74601.

Born on June 16, 1935, in Tonkawa, OK, she was the daughter of Oliver Ray Waggoner and Onie Velora (Hayes) Waggoner. A proud graduate of Blackwell High School, Class of 1954, Shirley later attended Pioneer Area Vo-Tech in Ponca City for business courses and completed training at beauty college. She worked for many years as a beautician, and also at Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home in Blackwell, and also at Braum’s in Blackwell.

Shirley married Thomas Joseph Grealish Jr. on March 3, 1962, in Enid, OK. He preceded her in death on May 17, 2023.When Thomas was in the military, they lived in many places. She found joy in many hobbies including recipe collecting, cooking, oil painting, reading, and watching western movies.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, JoAnn White; sister, Norma Janice of Corpus Christi, TX; brother, Kenneth Waggoner of Blackwell, OK; grandchildren Kyle White and wife Kayla and Cody White and wife Christina, two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by sons Thomas J. Grealish III and Michael Patrick Grealish; parents, Oliver Ray Waggoner and Onie Velora Waggoner; and sister, Darlene Waggoner.

Pallbearers will be Kyle White, Cody White, Billy Janice, and Bill White.
