Sandra Sue Boepple was born on November 21, 1941, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, to Geraldine and Orville (O.D.) Hogan. She grew up in Ponca City, coming of age in the 1950s, a time that shaped her values and outlook on life. She was a proud graduate of Ponca City High School, Class of 1959.

Sandy was exceptionally talented in decorating her home, a passion through which she expressed creativity, warmth, and hospitality. She loved hosting bridge parties in her home, attending bridge tournaments, and excelled at the game she so deeply enjoyed. Her dedication and skill earned her the distinguished title of Life Grand Master Bridge player, an achievement of which she was very proud.

Her presence was a constant source of comfort and care, and her legacy lives on through the generations she cherished.

She is survived by her daughter, Danica Henderson, and her spouse, Dr. Robert Henderson, of Elk City; her son, Douglas Sherman Hubbard of Fort Gibson, and his spouse Sandra Dawn Hubbard; and her son, Damon Hubbard of Nebraska, and his spouse Sue Ann Hubbard; along with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Geraldine and Orville (O.D.) Hogan; the father of her children, Cecil Sherman Hubbard, to whom she was married for 19 years; and her spouse, John R. Boepple, whom she married in 1993 and who preceded her in death in 2020.
