Robert Lee Logan
July 25, 1932 – February 27, 2026
Robert (Bob) Lee Logan, 93, of Wellington, Kansas, passed away on February 27, 2026, surrounded by loving family.
Bob was born on July 25, 1932, in Blackwell, Oklahoma, the son of Robert Olin Logan and Ella Mae Logan nee Bissell. He graduated from Ark City High School in 1950 and started working for the Santa Fe Railroad. Bob joined the Navy during the Korean War and served on the USS Harry E. Hubbard until honorably discharged in 1954. He resumed working for the Santa Fe as a brakeman and eventually a conductor and retired from Santa Fe Burlington Northern Railway in 2002. Bob loved working with his hands including drawing, painting, carpentry and refurbishing his home.
Remaining to cherish Bob’s memory are spouse, Sharon Logan; children (with Mary JoAnn Logan nee Kane) Robin Logan McGuire and Cherie Logan. Stepchildren Shelly Gonzalez, nee Collins, Mike Collins and Amy Logan. Grandchildren Christopher, Jeni, Victoria, Gabriel, Jacob, Mike Jr., Maci, Raine, and Olivia. Great grandchildren Ellie, Rocky, Bodhi, Jonas, Jude, Winona, and DeLani. Brother and sister-in-law Dennis and Judy Logan.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Olin Logan and Ella Mae Logan Froelich nee Bissell.
Private family services will be at Prairie Chapel Cemetery, Blackwell, Oklahoma.
Inurnment will be in the Prairie Chapel Cemetery.
Memorial Donations in Bob’s memory may be directed to Interim Hospice Wellington, Kansas or Prairie Chapel Cemetery. Envelopes are available and may be sent c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home.
