Randall “Randy“ Kent Walker of Tonkawa, Oklahoma Passed away Saturday, November 29, 2025. Viewing will be Friday, December 5, 2025, At Trout Funeral Home Chapel in Tonkawa, Oklahoma, from 11:00AM to 8:00PM with family present from 5:00-7:00PM. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 2:00PM at NOC in the Kinzer Performing Arts Center with Ken Macken officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Lamont Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Tonkawa, 505 Thunderbird Rd, Tonkawa, OK 74653.
Randy was born May 11, 1960, in Blackwell Oklahoma to Harold Dale and Barbara Jean (Martin) Walker.
Randy grew up on his parents' farm in Lamont, attending grade school at Lamont Elementary and graduating from Deer Creek-Lamont High School. He got a degree in Basic Occupation at Pioneer Technology Center where he worked in the cafeteria while attending school. He then attended NOC for one year. He was a member of the Lamont United Methodist Church teaching Sunday School there before he moved to the Tonkawa United Methodist Church. He was very active in church and had a great love for the Lord.
He opened his home and heart to many students, having two foster children at one time. He loved being a coach for little league basketball, baseball, soccer, and T Ball. His hobbies were fishing, camping, and a good game of golf. He enjoyed working in his yard growing flowers, taking vacations, and going to tribal pow wows.
Randy was employed at NOC for 40 years as the Custodian/Maintenance person, moving to Tonkawa in 1992 from Ponca City.
Randy married Rebecca Gay Goldman June 30, 1995, in the gazebo on N.O.C. campus and she preceded him in death April 13, 2007, after eleven years of marriage. On September 18, 2021, he married Jeanna Lee Jones.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanna of the home; his mother, Barbara Jean (Martin) Walker; his brother Douglas Allen Walker and his wife, Cindy; his step-son Kristopher Butler and his wife Katrina; three grandchildren, Kennadee Jo, Kyson Lee, and Kamrynn Jean, along with many other nieces and nephews which he all loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his father Harold Walker; his brother, Michael Ray Walker, and wife Kathy; his first wife Rebecca.
