Phyllis Margaret (Chiles) Koch, 91, of Ponca City, OK, died on January 29, 2026. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Ranch Drive Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory, 505 W. Grand Ave. Ponca City, OK, 74601.
Phyllis was born on February 28, 1934, in Perkins, OK, to Archie and Geneva (Kester) Chiles. She married Franklin “Gene” Koch on December 31, 1959, in Stillwater, OK. Phyllis loved quilting and gardening, taking care of her flowers, and was one wicked domino player. Phyllis loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren.
Phyllis is survived by children, Debbie Miller and her husband, Roger, of Mounds, OK, Earl Eugene Koch of Ponca City, OK, Diane Dewberry of Ponca City, OK; grandchildren, Brad Miller, Bobby Barnett, Nicole Brewer, Jeremy Wilson, Franklin Koch, Patrick Koch, Austin Miller, Kyra Gordon; great-grandchildren, Levi and Landon Barnett, Christlyn Barnett, Brently Wilson, Alanna Miller, Cavin Brewer, Walker Gordon, Cole Wesley Gordon, Emmet Koch, Jaxon Brewer, Waylynn Miller, Wrangler Miller; great-great-grandchildren Dalaynee; Sisters; Charolette Stephens, and Kay Moore; many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene, and her parents.
