Odie Dean Floyd
July 4, 1958 - June 10, 2025
Odie Dean Floyd, 66, of Billings, peacefully left this earth on June 10, 2025 at his home with his wife Angie by his side. A potluck celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 14th, at the Billings Community Center located at 200 W. Main Street in Billings, Oklahoma.
Dean was born on July 4th, 1958 to Odie Floyd and Betty Cain-Floyd in Wellington, Kansas. He graduated from Ponca City High School in 1977.
Dean enjoyed tending to his gardens, raising his chickens and dogs, fishing, woodworking, and spending time with his grandkids. Dean was a very talented woodworker and did so for many years in his shop while living in Burbank. He was a man of many talents and the one everyone would go to when they needed something fixed or just some advice on how to do it themselves. He was a “MacGyver” of sorts. He held jobs ranging from a printer to a Water Utility Superintendent.
Dean married Angela Lowells on May 25, 2007 and together they made happy homes for themselves that stretched from Burbank to Billings and many places in between. Their home was genuinely mobile, so sometimes you’d have to check to see where they were going to be before going to see them. Dean always made the people around him smile and would do anything for anyone, even if that meant he had to go without to do so. He will be missed beyond measure and we were all so fortunate to have had him.
Dean is proceeded in death by his parents; one sister, Janet Boxberger; an infant brother, Gerald Lee; a son, Thomas Wyatt; a grandson, Michael Wyatt; and his niece, Cindy Holloway.
Survivors include his wife, Angie of the home; children, Joshua Floyd (Jessi), Gerald Floyd, Tanna Floyd (Mark), Tim Wyatt, and Anthony Wyatt (Chelsea) and Grandchildren, Peyton Floyd, Kaley Floyd, Carter Dady, Mia Callegan, Jeremy Callegan, Karter Floyd, Kayleah Sullivan, Mark Mayer, Waylon Mayer, Jaxon Wyatt, Kameron Wyatt, Jayden Wyatt, Avaia Wyatt, and Austynn Wyatt.
Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home of Perry, 1408 N 7th St, Perry, OK 73077. We invite you to leave a message of condolence, expression of sympathy or perhaps share a memory of Odie Dean at www.troutperry.com.
