August 15, 1940 – December 2, 2020

Tommy Ray Chesnutt, 80, of Ponca City, left this life on December 2, 2020, in Tulsa, OK. A private family Celebration of Life Ceremony will take place at 2:00 PM, on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at Grace Episcopal Church, with the Reverend Caleb Roberts, rector. Face masks are required. For those not attending, the ceremony will be live-streamed. Tommy was born on August 15, 1940, in Joplin, MO, to Ray and Mildred Elizabeth (Smith) Chesnutt. He married Frances Ann Williamson in 1962 and they moved to Ponca City in 1971. She passed away in 1982. He then married Becky Crawford in Ponca City in 1996.

Tommy was an independent realtor for many years; having served as President of the North Central Board of Realtors, 2002 and 2017. He served as Oklahoma Association of Realtors State Director, 2017 and 2018, and headed the NCBOR RPAC Committee in 2019 and 2020. He was a member of the Ponca City Board of Realtors and received Realtor Associate of the Year in 1989. He was awarded Realtor of the Year for the North Central Board of Realtors in 2000. In 2002, he was named Realtor of the Year for the State of Oklahoma. He was also realtor of the Year for the National Association of Realtors in 2015.

Tommy enjoyed serving on the NCBOR RPAC committee because he liked being involved with politics and the Real Estate Business.. He was involved in, and attended many meetings and events with realtors all over the State. He served each and every year with NCBOR committees and helped in any way that he could. Tommy will be truly missed by the NCBOR office.

He is survived by: his wife, Becky, of the home; daughters, Tiffany Jones, of Tulsa, OK, Shaney Chesnutt of Ponca City, Casey Chesnutt of San Fransisco, CA, Reghan McAuley, of St. Louis, MO; brothers, Jimmy Ledterman, of Fantana, TX, Johnny Ledterman, of Tulsa, OK; sister, Linda Kaye Davis, of Lakeway, TX.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother, grandparents, sister, Patricia Johnson and first wife, Frances.
