Obituary for Teresa Willaford

Teresa Kay “Terri” Willaford, resident of rural Ponca City, passed Monday, February 24, 2014 at her home. She was 58 years of age.

Terri was born November 30, 1955 at San Bernardino, California, the daughter of Charles Richard Jarvis and Ruby Jeanette (Lehman) Jarvis. Her early education was in California and in Fort Dodge, Iowa. She moved to Oklahoma in 1982. She was married to Garth Ray Willaford on August 20, 2001. She was a longtime employee of Air System Components in Ponca City where she was currently a shipping coordinator. Her enjoyments included boating, camping, walking in the woods and by the river and her dogs.

She is survived by one daughter, Nicole Dwight of Fort Dodge, Iowa; one step-son, William Ray Willaford and wife Breia, of Ponca City; one sister, Lisa Medrano of Los Angeles, California; four grandsons, Connor Dwight, Brandon Dwight, Tristen Dwight and Keaton Dwight; two step granddaughters, Haylee and Madison Willaford; two great grandsons, Kaige Dwight and Blayde Dwight; numerous other extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one brother Danny Medrano; one sister, Debbie Laudoux.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 28, 2014 at the Kaw City Community Center. Arrangements are under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.
