Shelby Scott Stevens passed away on December 12, 2017 in Ponca City. Scott was born on March 9, 1970 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to his parents, Shelby Joe Stevens and Sandy Sue (Hilton) Stevens. He graduated from Shidler High School. Scott worked for Sooner Construction, Ponca City Hospital. For the past four years, Scott worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for South Central Kansas Medical Center in Ark City. He enjoyed hunting for arrowheads, fishing, and anything that brought him closer to the water. When he was younger, Scott enjoyed rebuilding and painting cars and had a talent for construction and remodeling homes.

Scott is survived by his daughter, Taylor Stevens and fiancé Josh of Ponca City and their children, Kaden Barnes and Levi Barnes, girlfriend, Ashlie Stone of Kaw City and her six boys: Caden, Kiden, Dakota, Gunner, Harper, and Elliott, sisters, Shelly Smith and husband David of Ponca City and Kelli Yerby and husband Jeff of Dallas, Texas, brother, Matthew Kyle of Kaw City, aunts, Mary Harkins of Kaw City, and Trisha Orr and husband Wayne of Eufala, Oklahoma, ten nieces and nephews, numerous grandnieces, grandnephews, and cousins.

Scott was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and his parents, Joe and Sandy Stevens.

A memorial ceremony for Scott will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Trout Funeral Home & Crematory in Ponca City.
