Obituary for Sandra Furber

Sandra Lee Furber of Blackwell, Oklahoma died Saturday, November 30, 2013, at the Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 60 years.

Sandra Lee Furber was born in Los Angeles, California on February 16, 1953. She was the daughter of Robert Lee and Betty Jane (Holmes) Cannady. She grew up in Ponca City, Oklahoma, attending Ponca City Public Schools, graduating from Ponca City High School in 1970. She then furthered her education at Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa receiving her Associates in Business. Following her education she moved to Georgia where she began working for the Fidelity National Title Company. She later moved to Blackwell, Oklahoma to be near her family. She enjoyed gardening, painting, and making jewelry. She loved her dogs.

She is survived by her daughter, Leisa Duncan and husband David of Blackwell, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Amanda, Daniel , Ashley, Derrick, Megan, and Jeremy; four great grandchildren, Abbigale, Lyndie, Naomi, and Riley; two brothers, Mike Cannady of Ponca City, Oklahoma, and David Cannady of San Diego, California, and one sister, Donna George of Ponca City, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Richard Cannady.

Services are scheduled for Friday, December 6, 2013, at 2:00 pm, at the Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Ponca City, Oklahoma.

Casketbearers will be, Daniel Duncan, Amanda Duncan, Jeremy Swain, Cameron Crow, and David Duncan.

Honorary Casketbearers will be Dennis Cramer, and Richard George.
