Pearl Fuqua Carver

Pearl Fuqua Carver, formerly of Nardin, Oklahoma, died Tuesday morning, December 1, 2020, in Pecan Point Memory Care in Sherman, Texas, at the age of 101 years.

Pearl Fuqua Carver was born on July 26, 1919, in Nardin, Oklahoma, to Martin and Luella (Goodman) Lippincott. She grew up in Nardin and attended Nardin Schools. She married Willard Haskell Fuqua and began serving her family as a farmer’s wife and homemaker. Following his death in 1959, she later married his brother, Floyd Fuqua in 1964. Upon his death in 1982, she married Willard Carver and she continued serving her family as a homemaker. He preceded her in death in 2012. She loved being a farmer’s wife, living in the country and gardening.

She is survived by a son, Kenneth Fuqua of Bells, Texas; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; as well as other extended family members.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Joseph Clifford Fuqua; two daughters, Lenora Ruth Stone and Luella Mae Fuqua; and two sisters.

A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 5th in the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Nardin with her family officiating.

A memorial has been established in her honor with the Salvation Army in c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home, 120 W. Padon, Blackwell, Oklahoma 74631.
