Obituary for Marvina Cerre

Marvina Cerre, 57, of OKC, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2014 at OU Medical Center of OKC.

Marvina was born on May 10, 1957 in White Eagle to Marvin and Marion (McDugan) Cerre. She grew up in the White Eagle area and attended Chilocco Indian School. She had lived in OKC for the past 40 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 Brothers; Lynn Cerre, Phillip Cerre and Marvin Cerre, JR. Sister-Lillian Cerre.

Marvina is survived by 2 children; Virgil Knoxsah of Ponca City and Cindy Bateman of OKC. Siblings; Sharon Bianco of OKC, Pam Widell of Perkins, Bobby Cerre of Tucson, AZ, and Debbie Cerre of Eufaula, OK. 8 grandchildren and a very close friend-Wilkie Eagle, JR.

Wake services will be 7 pm, Tuesday, July 15, 2014 traditional meal at noon Wednesday, July 16, 2014 with services to follow at 2 pm all at the Ponca Tribal Cultural Center with Pastor Louis Headman officiating. Burial will follow in the Ponca Tribal Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be; David Eagle, Mark Eagle, Earl Howe, Lane Camp, Craig Primeaux and Richard Bateman. Honorary Bearers will be; Tim Anquoe, Wendell Rogers, Isaiah Buffalohead, Kevin Kemble, JR., Ben waters, JR. and Gary Webster.
