January 21, 1935 – June 19, 2018

Marcelllus Lambert died peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 19, 2018. He was 83. He was born on January 21, 1935 in Bridgeport, Oklahoma to Ambrose and Channie Lambert. Marcellus served in the US Navy during World War II and Vietnam, retiring after 15 years of loyal service. He enjoyed going out to eat, working on cars or lawnmowers or anything he could tinker on, as well as driving way to fast in his truck. He was a dedicated member of the American Legion.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Memorial Chapel in Ponca City. The reverend Timothy Johnson of Johnson Temple COGIC will officiate. Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 2p.m. at the National Cemetery in Fort Gibson Oklahoma. Military honors will be held at the cemetery. Pallbearers will include Ricky Lee, JR., Derrick Johnson, Josh Johnson, Mike Jones and Clarence Green.

Marcellus leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Lucretia of the home, daughter DeBraha Anderson, stepson Ricky Lee, Jr., stepdaughters Tanisha Hicks and Calinda Nunn , two brothers Emmett Lambert of Oklahoma City and Eugene Lambert of Kansas City, Missouri.

He has joined in heaven, his parents, Brothers Paul Lambert and Ambrose Honey Lambert , sister Mae Lambert, Brother-in-law Tom Channie, Ruby Cash, grandpa John Lane and aunt Sara Lane.
