LaDonna McIntyre

February 4, 1927 – April 4, 2019

LaDonna Ruth McCauley Stieferman McIntyre, 92, of Ponca City, Oklahoma, was born to William B. Johnstone, and Octavia L. Walker Johnstone in South Haven, Kansas February 4, 1927. She was one of 15 children. She was raised East of Newkirk, Oklahoma on a farm. She met Clyde Felix McCauley at a basketball game. They married in 1943. She was a mother of three sons, whom she raised through WWll. She loved fishing, crocheting, and baking. Several awards at the fair for her baking and crocheting were awarded to LaDonna. She loved working in her garden. As well, LaDonna served as an overnight caregiver to people who were cancer victims. She married Raymond P. Stieferman in El Reno, Oklahoma on September 4, 1973. They lived in Ponca City, Oklahoma.

LaDonna went to be with the Lord at 5am on Thursday, April 4, 2019. She will be laid to rest at a graveside ceremony at 1pm, Thursday April 18, 2019, next to Ray Stieferman in the St. Mary’s Catholic Section of Odd Fellows cemetery, 1200 block of South Waverly Drive, in Ponca City, Oklahoma.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, her sons, and many brothers and sisters. Survivors includer her two brothers: Richard Johnstone, Danny and wife Dottie Johnstone, her grandchildren: Robert McCauley, Robin McCauley, Stephen McCauley, John McCauley, Kirby Ellison, Patti Orozco, Rebekah McCauley, Rachel Schulz, her numerous nephews and nieces, her 22 great grandchildren, and her 23 great-great grandchildren. We will always carry your memory in our hearts.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.
