Kimberly Ann Kessler, also known as Kim, passed away on February 7, 2024, at the age of 62 in Ponca City, Oklahoma. She was born on May 30, 1961, in Lincoln, Nebraska, to Richard Ross Fry and Marilyn Sue Bromer. Kim was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her sisters Debra Alexander and Shelia Fry and brothers Daniel Bromer and Robert Bromer.

Kimberly will be remembered for her kind-hearted nature and strong faith. She was a devoted churchgoer and had a deep love for the LORD. Although she could be a bit of a daydreamer at times, she was always there for others when they needed her. Kim’s German heritage contributed to her strong-willed and stubborn nature, but it also showcased her unwavering determination.

Family meant the world to Kimberly. She was a loving wife to her husband, John Kessler, and a caring mother to her daughters, Tawnya Wright and Amanda Kirkpatrick. Kim also took on the role of a mother figure to children who were not her own, extending her love and support to her children’s friends. She adored her seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

In her free time, Kimberly enjoyed various hobbies. She found solace in crocheting, as well as playing seek and find games. Kim had a fondness for collecting unicorns and Indian dolls, which showcased her appreciation for both mythical creatures and Native American culture. She also enjoyed watching her favorite TV shows, particularly crime dramas, and spending time with her family, whether it be visiting the park, the zoo, or engaging in other family activities. Country and trucker music were her preferred genres, providing a soundtrack to her life.

A Celebration of Life will be held on February 13, 2024, at 3 p.m. at Faith Tabernacle. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor Kimberly’s memory during this time. Contributions in her memory can be made to the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation, an organization close to her heart.

Kimberly Ann Kessler will be dearly missed by her loved ones, including her husband, daughters, sisters Kathy Kirkendoll, Lisa Thyberg, Jolene McCoullough, Krista Ferguson, as well as her grandchildren, great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
