Kalem Anthony Marchesoni

July 5, 2013 – March 21, 2018

Kalem Anthony Marchesoni, age 4, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends on Tuesday, March 21, 2018, at OU Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. After a long battle with leukemia, Kalem won his fight with cancer and was cancer free at the time of his death.

Kalem was born July 5, 2013 in Bartlesville, OK. He was a special boy and was full of life. His smile was infectious and he was immediately a friend to everyone who met him. He was especially close to the 10 west nursing staff at OU Children’s Hospital that had the privilege of caring for him over the past 16 months. Kalem was strong and courageous. He tackled cancer without fear. Kalem loved to sing especially at 3am while in the transplant unit. He loved Paw Patrol and Daniel Tiger. He was a fan of the Chicago Cubs and OU football. Kalem enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. If you asked Kalem if he needed anything, he would always respond “We’re ok.”

Kalem is survived by his mothers, Dee Dee Marchesoni and Marley Miller; his siblings, Jeremy Gregg and wife, Stephanie, Sarah Gregg, Jason Marchesoni, and Ivy Marchesoni; his grandparents, JE and Mary Miller; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Danny and Judy Marchesoni.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 10:00 am with Father Carson Krittenbrink officiating. A rosary will be held at Trout Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, March 26, 2018, 6:00 pm. All are invited.
