Obituary for Judith Lawson

Judith J. Lawson, 77, of Ponca City, passed away Monday, November 18, 2013 at her reisdence. She was born on October 13, 1936 in Waldron, AR to Victor & Sylvia (Sayles) Jacobs.

Judith came to Ponca City at a very early age. She graduated from Ponca City High School, Ponca City, OK. Judith worked at the American Legion Children’s Home and as a cafeteria worker for the Ponca City school system but most recently she was a homemaker. She enjoyed knitting, bible study, and spending time with friends and family.

Judith was preceded in death by her husband Jim of over 57 years, this past June and One sister-Joy.

She is survived by her son; Kenneth Eugene Lawson of Manhattan, KS, sister-Nancy McEnany of Malakoff, TX, Brother-Dave Jacobs of Ponca City, grandson-Ryan Lawson, 2 Great Grandchildren- Averie and Nash Lawson, all of OKC.

Funeral Services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, November 21, 2013 at the Word Life Christian Center with Pastor Bill Innis officiating. Burial will follow in the I. O.O.F. Cemetery.
