Juanita Ann Yager of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died Thursday, October 5, 2017, in the Blackwell Regional Hospital at the age of 82 years.

Juanita Ann Yager was born on November 4, 1934, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to Paul and Goldie Chaney. The family later moved to Oklahoma where she attended school. She married Arnold D. Yager on October 4, 1957, in Blackwell and she served her family as a homemaker. She later worked cleaning homes for various families. She was a member of Christ’s Church. She enjoyed putting puzzles together and collecting various antiques and nick-knacks. She also enjoyed attending garage sales and flea markets.

She is survived by two sons, Johnny Webb and wife Gloria of Ponca City and Gary Yager and wife Becky of Blackwell; a brother, Cedric Chaney of Enid; five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two sisters, Pauline Epperly and Irene Gillham.

Graveside services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 10th in the Blackwell Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Bookout officiating.

A memorial has been established in her honor with the Disabled American Veterans in c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home, 120 W. Padon, Blackwell, Oklahoma 74631.
